Many children develop a passion for horses and riding as a result of Hippotherapy. Children who are ready to "graduate" out of Hippotherapy, yet continue to need therapeutic intervention, are given the opportunity to learn to ride as a sport while working towards achieving therapeutic goals! This small group of two - four children is taught by both a certified NARHA riding instructor and a speech pathologist or occupational therapist.
