From the Garden State
Parkway (north or southbound) take Exit 145 to
Interstate 280 West. Travel 3.6 miles to Exit 8B,
Prospect Ave north. Go 5 lights (approximately 1 mile) to
Woodland Ave. Make Left on Woodland Ave. Essex Equestrian
Center is 400 yards on the left.
From the New Jersey Turnpike take
exit 15W to Interstate 280 west. Travel west on 280 for 7.5
miles to exit 8B, Prospect Ave north. Go 5 lights (approximately
1 mile) to Woodland Ave. Make Left on Woodland Ave. Essex Equestrian
Center is 400 yards on the left.
From RT 22 go
to the Garden State Parkway north. Take exit 145 to Interstate
280 West. Travel 3.6 miles to Exit 8B, Prospect Ave north.
Go 5 lights (approximately 1 mile) to Woodland Ave. Make Left
on Woodland Ave. Essex Equestrian Center is 400 yards on the
left.
From RT 78 ,
travel to either the Garden State Parkway or the New Jersey
Turnpike North. Follow directions from either location above.
or
From Rt. 24 west,
take JFK parkway at the Short Hills Mall. At fifth light, make
a right onto South Orange Avenue. At second light, make a left
onto Old Short Hills Rd towards St. Barnabas Hospital. After
the second light bear right at the fork to continue on Old
Short Hills Rd. At next light, make a right onto Northfield.
At the bottom of the hill turn left at the light onto Pleasant
Valley Way. At the seventh light turn right Woodland Ave. EEC
is approximately 1 mile up on the right.

center is located in the back of the Essex Equestrian Center.
Parking is available behind the center to conveniently access
our offices. To drive to the back of the center you must pass
the Essex Equestrian center going down Woodland Ave., then make
the first left onto Terrace Ave (however the sign is missing)
then make the first left at the white split rail fence onto Nicholas
Ave (however the sign is missing!). Continue straight until you
reach the back of the equestrian center and park on the left.
You will see our handicapped accessible entrance. PLEASE DRIVE
SLOWLY AS MANY HORSES USE THIS AREA TO ACCESS THE OUTDOOR ARENA!
