Developmental Riding

(Registered NARHA Riding Instructor and consultations by Speech/Occupational/ Physical Therapist)

Many children develop a passion for horses and riding after participating in Hippotherapy. Children who are ready to "graduate" out of Hippotherapy, yet continue to need therapeutic support, are given the opportunity to learn to ride as a sport while working towards achieving therapeutic goals! This small group of two - four children is taught by a NARHA certified riding instructor. Speech, physical and/or occupational therapy consultations are provided on a regular basis to coordinate riding goals that will assist in developing functional skills.
